After the release of the album "Streetnoise" in 1969, Brian AUGER & THE TRINITY split up and the virtuoso organ player created the famous Brian AUGER OBLIVION EXPRESS. Some of the greatest musicians were once part of this band, like Alex LIGERTWOOD (future organ player with SANTANA) on "A Better Land", drummers Phil COLLINS, Steve FERRONE and Lenny WHITE who played along with Chaka KHAN, Eric CLAPTON, George BENSON, Jim MULLEN, Robbie McINTOSH or Clive CHAMAN amongst other people. The legendary band was reunited in 1994, after a profitable collaboration with Eric BURDON in the Nineties. "Closer To It", recorded in 1973, has remained Brian AUGER's most famous album until now...
