Underrated singer-songwriter from Lorraine (East of France), Mil MOUGENOT has been going up and down French roads since about twenty years with his guitar, his Christian faith and his country-roots, blues, folk and rock influences. After his successful come-back with the intimist "Poèmes, Prières Et Souvenirs D'Armes" (2003), our man has been swarming with projects. The most recent was made possible with the help of THE GLORY FC BAND: a tour that was laconically called "Back To My Heavy Roots Tour - Number One". This tour was captured to make a record, thanks to the Rebel label that releases "Live At The New Morning" today, an account of a memorable concert in Paris on the 16th June 2004. Big guitars are back, lyrics more punchy than they ever were, and the pleasure to play still as communicative as always. It's up to you to let these twelve titles engross you. No doubt that French blues-rock is back and well !
