Rarely fully acknowledged, Morgan FISHER's keyboardist talent can be compared to that of the greatest keyboardists, starting with Rick WAKEMAN. The one who was from 1974 MOTT THE HOPPLE's acclaimed musician had been part of pop group LOVE AFFAIR before in the Sixties. Then he had recorded two albums under the name of MORGAN (with guitarist- singer Tim STAFFEL, member of SMILE, which later experienced success under the name of QUEEN), which constitute a concentrate of fiery and inspired Progressive Rock. "Nova Solis" was recorded in 1972 and includes the wonderful eponymous suite. In the Nineties, FISHER turned towards a more synthtic, pure and spiritual music. "Claws" celebrates the ancient pagan feasts organized for the winter solstice, and then replaced by Christmas in Catholic religion.
