THE HEALING ROAD is the instrumental project led by German keyboardist Hans Peter HESS (THE BEARDED'S PROJECT), whose name was inspired by the book by Neil PEART (RUSH) "Ghost Rider - Travels On The Healing Road". To help him, this musician has invited numerous guests, for example, on guitars, keyboards and drums. His music is a mix of catchy and dreamy sequences, with dynamic rhythms. Inspired by a national park in the Canary Islands, his second album "Timanfaya" (Musea, 2008) displays nine suggestive and melodious tracks, truly varied both in terms of atmospheres and rhythms, which are performed in an energetic style. His skilful and lively keyboards playing and composing style remind of GENESIS and EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, with some more aggressive and wild moments ala DREAM THEATER, and also a touch of electro. The booklet includes reproductions of paintings by Herbert WANDERER, that underline the original mix of meditation and energy conveyed by this beautiful and refreshing music. The third album "Tales From The Dam" (2009) presents a new concept, selling the original CD with a bonus LP, which includes the complete new album in vinyl, an object that every nostalgic of the Seventies should appreciate. THE HEALING ROAD est le projet instrumental du claviériste et batteur allemand HansPeter HESS (THE BEARDED'S PROJECT), dont le nom a été inspiré par l'ouvrage écrit par Neil PEART (RUSH), "Ghost Rider - Travels On The Healing Road". Notre homme a convié de nombreux invités, qu'ils soient guitaristes, batteurs ou claviéristes. Liste non-exhaustive. Sa musique alterne avec brio séquences puissantes et moments atmosphériques et oniriques, portés par des rythmes dynamiques. Inspiré par un parc national situé dans une île des Canaries, le second opus "Timanfaya" (Musea, 2008) dévoile neuf titres d'une grande force mélodique, très divers tant pour les atmosphères que pour les rythmes, joués avec une grande vivacité. Son jeu de claviers et son style de composition rappellent GENESIS ou EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, avec des moments plus agressifs à la DREAM THEATER et quelques touches d'electro. Le livret inclut de belles reproductions de tableaux d'Herbert WANDERER, qui viennent souligner et enrichir le mélange original de méditation et d'énergie qui habite cette belle musique. Le troisième opus "Tales From The Dam" (2009) inaugure un nouveau concept, à savoir le CD original vendu avec un LP bonus ! Ce dernier contient l'intégralité de ce nouvel album en format vinyle, un objet qui ravira sans aucun doute les nostalgiques des Seventies.
