Established in 2006 by Sébastien PAINDESTRE, AMNESIAC QUARTET is the only group dedicated solely to the music of RADIOHEAD. Apart from being one of the most influential and renowned bands today, Thom YORKE's group achieved, not intentionnally, to build a bridge between the so-called popular music and Seventies' Progressive rock. It was obvious then, for young jazz musicians inspired by the latter, to pay their own tribute. All used to big stages and the jazz French music scene, those four talented musicians are (Or were) members of RIGOLUS, JEAN-LOUIS or SURNATURAL ORCHESTRA, like drummer Antoine PAGANOTTI (MAGMA). Halfway between jazz and Progressive rock, the perform a music all at once strong, refined and organic music...

Créé en 2006 par Sébastien PAINDESTRE, AMNESIAC QUARTET est le seul groupe dédié uniquement à la musique de RADIOHEAD. Outre le fait d'être l'une formations musicales les plus influentes et les plus connues de nos jours, le groupe de Thom YORKE a réussi, à son corps défendant, à bâtir un pont entre musique dite populaire et le rock Progressif des années soixante-dix. Il était donc tout naturel que de jeunes musiciens de jazz influencés par ce dernier courant décident de lui rendre hommage à leur manière. Tous habitués des grandes scènes de jazz et musiques actuelles françaises, ces quatre instrumentistes de grand talent sont membres actuels ou passés de RIGOLUS, JEAN-LOUIS ou SURNATURAL ORCHESTRA, à l'image du batteur Antoine PAGANOTTI (MAGMA). A mi-chemin entre le jazz et le rock Progressif, ils trouvent ensemble une musique à la fois musclée, épurée et organique...
