HELLIXXIR (France) Corrupted Harmony

HELLIXXIR is the new protege of the Brennus label. The melodic heavy-metal band offers a concept-album that deals with the theme of a sick human behaviour. Immersion in a chaotic world where each individual is contaminated by a parasite, making them unpredictable, irrational and violent. Partially awake, Mankind questions its actions and its future, starting a true inner fight: "War Within".

HELLIXXIR est le nouveau protégé du label Brennus. La formation de heavy-metal mélodique propose un concept-album abordant le thème d'un comportement humain malade. Immersion dans un monde chaotique dans lequel chaque individu est contaminé par un parasite, le rendant totalement imprévisible, irrationnel et violent. A demi conscient, l'Homme s'interroge peu à peu quant à ses actes et son avenir, déclenchant ainsi un véritable combat intérieur: "War Within". Intimiste et assurément incisif, "Corrupted Harmony" (2012) puise sa force dans une noirceur omniprésente et qui s'exprime jusque dans le visuel. L'album, en tant qu'objet, représente la matérialisation symbolique d'émotions personnelles négatives (Peur, tristesse, haine...), conférant au projet une dimension délibérément égocentrique. Il est enfin un hommage rendu à Camille MARQUET, chanteur et bassiste du groupe HELLIXXIR, dont la disparition brutale fait tristement écho à l'essence même de "Corrupted Harmony"...
