EMBRYO (Allemagne) Hallo Mik

Even before the world-music trend, EMBRYO knew how to combine rock, jazz and ethnic music. This german Seventies-band mixed rock rhythms and instrumentation (Organ, guitar...) with exotic elements (Arabian music...), for offering a good mix of ethnic Progressive rock. "Embryo's Rache" (1972) is the band's second album. Shortly after its release, the musicians took part in a radio progamme, today offered by the label Garden Of Delights under the title "Bremen 1972". A nearly 20 minutes-long track also was due to that show and was re-recorded on the re-edition of the third studio album "Father, Son and Holy Ghosts" (1972). Guitarist Sigi SCHWAB was also involved in this album. "Invisible Documents" is a live album from 1974. In the Seventies EMBRYO was one of the most important bands of the German scene.
