MANGALA VALLIS is the name of the new Italian Progressive rock jewel. Beyond their amazing instrumental value, beyond a surprisingly mature first album, beyond the great vocal performance by Peter GABRIEL's hidden twin brother, we can find before all an unlimited respect for GENESIS, and it can be heard all along the listening of "The Book of Dreams". Recorded in 2002, this album has Seventies sounds but a definitely modern production. It also takes some things from SPOCK'S BEARD. This might be due to the fact that the musicians had to wait almost twenty-five years before recording their first album ! In order to show some sense of belonging to the Italian scene, the great Bernardo LANZETTI (PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI's singer) was also invited to the album. Here is then a CD that cannot and should not be missed ! "Lycanthrope" (2005) is the title of the group's second album, much more mature and captivating at the same time. Apart from the now full-time singer Bernardo LANZETTI (PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI), one could find a prestigious guest, the VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR saxophonist David JACKSON. Not to be missed !

MANGALA VALLIS est le nom du nouveau petit bijou de la scène transalpine actuelle, en matière de rock Progressif. Au-delà de la prestation instrumentale remarquable fournie par les musiciens, au-delà d'une mâturité inédite pour un premier album, au-delà de l'incroyable performance vocale du frère jumeau caché de Peter GABRIEL, c'est avant tout le respect sans limites envers GENESIS qui transparaît à l'écoute de "The Book Of Dreams". Enregistré en 2002, cet opus aux sonorités Seventies mais à la production résolument moderne, se permet également quelques emprunts bienvenus du côté de SPOCK'S BEARD. Et pour cause, les musiciens ont patienté près de vingt-cinq ans avant de l'enregistrer ! Afin de conserver une appartenance à la scène transalpine, le grand Bernardo LANZETTI (Chanteur de PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI) a lui-aussi été convié aux festivités.
