Talented songwriter and singer coupled with a guitar style that works as well with blues as with jazz and folk, Michael CHAPMAN came out of the British folk scene in 1967. He issued his first album two years later with the title "Rainmaker". Twelve months later, he collaborated with singer Mike RONSON and recorded with him "Fully Qualified Survivor". After various successful albums during the Seventies, Michael CHAPMAN made his comeback in the year 2000 with an excellent album "Americana". Produced by Gus DUDGEON and 100% instrumental, this major record is greatly influenced by the musical style of the Southern US.
