Laura LITTARDI magnifie l'art du dire propre à la sensibilité pop-soul où les mots, les notes, coulent lentement tels les pleurs sur la joue dans la ferveur, la tristesse ou la tendresse éprise qu'ils convoquent. Avec un incroyable à-propos, la chanteuse use de ces harmonies folk volontiers ouvertes, refusant toute sophistication qui habillerait à l'excès l'émotion.
